THE ENTREPRENEUR

This is the post excerpt.

An entrepreneur is a master minder,  a fatalism leader and changer, a business overrunner, a challenger, initiator, driver of a business. He or she is the starter and sometimes the end of the business.

post

An entrepreneur is a real life dreamer who hopes for not just good but best. He prefers been called a boss rather, than an employer, and is often seen as a source of new ideas, business innovator. Though there happen to a debate among experts as some say an entrepreneur is one who mindsets a business and brings it into reality therefor working for himself. While others have a different view, saying that an entrepreneur doesn’t work alone but his business is encompassed by leaders and innovators.

With the way the world is torrently advancing with new ideas being generated and developed each and everyday it isn’t surprising why there happen to be shortness in the job market even countries who claims to have enough job opportunities will soon ran out of jobs creation if the citizens especially the youth doesn’t stop waiting for a change and start being the change they hope to see. I said especially the youth because they are still very young and filled with very young innovative and creative ideas that can accommodate millions. It is time we stop searching for jobs and start creating jobs so that others will equally benefit from us,  this is an eara of self employment. There is no soul on earth without a mindset of creativity, we all have dreams that we hope to rationalize but fear of fiasco won’t permit us take the necessarily steps. Come to think of it if your boss didn’t take the risk of establishing his business would you be employed? This type of rhetorical should get us self motivated and inspired so we can stop putting cap on dreams and sharpen our skills let’s put a colourful flag on our dreams.

It is time to be the driver of your dream and stop driving someone elses dreams. Many of us would like to be called Boss, CEO or Chairman someday but we are not ready to take the fear off and get into reality. If you ask me I would say the most resourceful and talented place on earth is the cemetery. Yeah you heard me right! the cemetery because that’s where millions of lifes who have refused to build their mindempire, the dreams that had refused to establish due to fear of failure. They end up dieing with their dreams buried in their heads and covered with dust, souls who would have made great impact AND left a huge life achievement, but they refused to.

Don’t waste all your life working to develop another man’s dreams whiles you have yours unattended to. ” It’s better to look back and say wow!  I can’t believe I did that than to look back and say I wishe did that.”

If from time immemorial your family have been toiling to establishing someone else’s dream then it’s time you make that change, that mindset  that  would empire lots of people, that mind that will make the world jealous at you.

Starting up your dreams doesn’t mean there won’t be obstacles, of course there will but that’s where determination and will power sets in.

In our next article we will be looking at the words most successful entrepreneurs and how they overcame what they faced.

COPING WITH HEART BREAK

Keeping a broken heart and nursing it is like allowing yourself to be robbed by a child. Who says there is no life after a breakup. Once you can accept what happened and prepare to take care of yourself and your emotions you will be able to move on and grow past it.
ACCEPTING WHAT HAS HAPPENED

Face your heartbreak head on, you may be emotionally down, yeah that’s normal and don’t lie to people telling them you are okay when you know you are not. Though you might be able to push in for a while but something will stair up the issue again and you will feel even worse cause you haven’t been really honest with yourself.
REMEMEBER IT IS OKAY TO FEEL SAD

Note it is okay infact normal to have or feel a whole range of emotions, including sadness,  confusion and anger. But don’t allow these emotions over power you don’t let them swear you off relationships forever, you will notice you are hurting yourself in the long run.  Instead give yourself time to feel the pain.
CRY

If you feel like crying do let it out as crying helps us express our extreme feelings and you will feel better afterwards. But when in places like class and stores and other public places try to control your tears by taking a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth but if tear slips down your chick blame it on a yawn, allergy or say you are feeling sick.
RELEASE YOUR NEGATIVE THOUGHTS

Allow yourself let go off of any negative thoughts that you maybe harbouring in your mind. These include filtering, which is looking at only the negative aspect of your situation and personalizing blaming yourself for what happened. Try observing yourself and see if you are such person. And try looking for ways to let go those negative thoughts.

An excellent way to expel negative energy is to meditate. Place yourself in a comfortable seated position in a comfortable place usually alone and free from any sort of distraction of any kind, e.g Television or any other stimulating thing. Breath deeply and let your mind go by focusing on another object, repeating a mantra, visualizing a peaceful place.

THINK POSITIVE ABOUT YOURSELF

Remind yourself of your strengths and be proud of them go out and do the things that makes you happy. Finish that painting, go out for walks,  jogging or running.
GET RID OF THE THINGS THAT REMINDS YOU OF YOUR EX

This includes pictures of you and your ex, listening to your song and gifts he/she gave you. You don’t really have to throw away these items but you must place them out of sight and don’t destroy any item that belongs to your ex that maybe of financial expense or sentimental value to him/her.  If you have items of such gather them together and arrange a time for your ex to come and collect them. This is not an invitation to reconnect, so keep your messages short and professional.
STOP ALL CONTACTS WITH YOUR EX

Keeping in contact with will make you feel even worse than you already do. Don’t call your ex crying or send passive aggressive texts, and definitely don’t communicate when you’ve been drinking. Your ex has made it clear that he or she is moving on. The best way to do that yourself is to avoid contact with him or her.

  • Delete your ex from social media. You don’t need the constant reminder of what he is up to that you’ll automatically get from Facebook or other social media sites. That kind of avoidance will help keep you from thinking about him.
  • Ask your friends to help. Don’t make, or let, them fill you in on what your ex is up to. Instead, ask them to help you get your mind off him, even if it’s just by spending time talking about anything else, or keeping you from contacting him.

MEET NEW PEOPLE

After giving yourself some space, get back into the game you enjoy. You shouldn’t close yourself off, and losing someone does not mean you are unlovable or can never love again. Use your new activities to meet potential new partners, or even be willing to use online dating. You don’t have to actively look for new relationships if you don’t want to, but don’t immediately reject the possibility if someone asks or offers.

  • Be careful with a rebound relationship. Opening yourself up does not mean rushing into a new relationship immediately. If you move too quickly, you may mistake the easy intimacy with real feeling, and create greater pain for yourself and the other person.

BE PATIENT

These processes take time, and while on the way to recovery, you may come up against days that are harder than others. Don’t beat yourself up over feeling sad when you thought you were recovering.

  • Occasionally fantasizing about your ex is normal. The surest way to think about something is to tell yourself not to think about it. Sometimes that will happen. Rather than suppress these thoughts, accept them, and look for something else to think about instead.

IT ALL COMES DOWN TO MAKING A DECISION

There are so many individuals out there that are talented but never accomplish anything. The body has limitations but our mind doesn’t, we focus so much from our neck downwards that we forget it all began from what’s in our head (mindset). If you are not mentally ready then you are never physically ready. People who take one (1) action each day are the most successful ones. We possibly can’t try everything but we have to keep trying there is nothing we cannot do it’s all about having a target goal.  No human being on earth that doesn’t have a gift. You only need to make a decision, a decision that drives succees out of you and not failure. It’s your job to figure out what your gift is, your job to decide whether you will work on it or not.

When you don’t have a decision then you don’t have a target and if you don’t have a target no matter the resources you have you still won’t get there cause your  being decisionless makes you visionless. The point of you changing your life comes down to something simple “A DECISION”   the point in which change begins to manifest is called a decision. A real decision is not a preference of trial and error but a target of “GOAL and AIM” it is a war that you go into which means no matter what you are never letting go. A decision carries you from this moment into that dream moment of yours. It sustains you through your difficulties. Don’t wait till you get old before you make a decision, make it  NOW. Decision is taking the hard way to do what’s right.

Most people stop at failure, we have all failed at various things before. But trust me failure is the most powerful tool but it all depends on how you use it.  Your definition of greatness should be entirely different from that of others. Every one needs a change to make their lifes better. This change I’m talking about is not a short way nor an easy way out but it’s the best way to successful peace and that change all begins from making a “DECISION.”

Every goal achiever admits  there will be obstacles but he recognizes these obstacles and primes the brain to believe it can overrun those obstacles. Stop looking for shortcuts and face your discipline.

” Your level of success all comes down to your level of discipline and perseverance”

” All success begins with self discipline”

” It all starts with you!!!”

” Winners are not people who never fail but people who never quit”

” If there is an obstacle between you and your success, MOVE IT, DON’T BE DENIED.”

FRIENDSHIP

Friends are the number one extenal factor an individual who aims  for success must consider. Many people miss it today because of being with the wrong companions. In life we encounter different types of friends such as The Dream Achieving Friends.

These  are the friends who assist in achieving your goals in life, they are always there to encourage you even when they know that there might not be hope, they are ready to support you to any extent not because of what will profit them but because of what will profit the world, they think more of the people than themself, such friends are hard to see and when found are not easily seperated, this is the best kind of friendship a successful man would like to have, you can only find such a friend when you want to be an acheiver. Secondly we have The Reading Peers,

they are more focused on their studies and career than on the multitude, they are always their for you when its time to read, they believe mainly on achieving a career for themselves and not a Name, they are not really into achieving the extraordinary like the Dream acheivers, and such friends do not really last due to the fact that they always want to meet with people beter than them, and once their goal is achieved they cut off from the ones who are not up to their standard intellectually. Lastly we have the negative peers, this are the devils they do not assist you in any way, they are not creative, all they ever talk about is girls, music movies and other successful people, they are doomed for destruction. Without friends we can’t go any where in life, so why not make Long life friends who are always there to encourage you and support you.

I would like you to ask yourself  a question who are my friends?, how do they affect me positively? do they help me read?or acheive my dreams? Remember friendship is the opposite of a magnet in the sense that Like Minds attract in Friendship while unlike poles attract in a magnet.

CHANGE YOUR DAY

What would your ideal day be like?  Your most incredible day?  The day you wake up and say “Yeah that’s the day I’ve been waiting and working all my life for.”

YOU ARE THE ONE IN CHARGE OF YOUR LIFE. Always take note that no one can make the Changes and amendments for you.
I’m the one who change things for myself, I’m the one who can get myself going, I’m the one who can motivate myself to do more.  The first mood you put up in the day determines your entire day. You no longer have to be a victim of anything, start AFFIRMING your vision with “I AM” for its a creative force.

Ask yourself these challenging questions every morning:

  • How can I grow
  • What can I give
  • What can I celebrate.

Tell yourself you want to grow more, give more and celebrate more. When you wake up every morning before picking up your phone, checking your mails or doing any other thing in the morning ask yourself what your priorities are for the day, at least you should have two priorities each day.

Leave every moment of your life like it the last cause one day it definitely will be. How you handle your life today determines how you leave it tomorrow. Start your day sweating, start your day motivating yourself and looking around for possibilities around you. The best part of life is the challenge it brings to you.

Your mind is strong than your body and you can program your mind to always push more and aspire more. Learn to say to your flesh “SHUT UP I’M IN CHARGE TODAY AND YOU’RE COMING WITH ME.”

Remember you can’t grow without challenge, without challenge life becomes dull and meaningless. If you don’t have pellucid targets that makes your life uncomfortable you can’t grow your character. The best feeling in life is knowing that you faced many challenges in life but prevailed through them all.  No challenge is too great,  No setback too large, if you don’t quit you will get there someday. The fact that life’s hard makes it special and separates the strong from the smart.

REACHING YOUR DREAMS

You must have wondered why life seems hard for you, why things are not going well for you. You think you have given out all your best but I tell you you this you’ve only started. Life wasn’t built to be easy if not nothing will be special, if not everyone will be misusing success. Ask any successful man today and they will tell you “I’m here today because I never gave up.”

Failure is a stepping stone in life. When you fail, you don’t actually fail,  you’ve only discovered ways of doing it wrong. You don’t have to allow your circumstances rule your day or even your life. You become what you think about whether you like it or not what ever imagination you plant in your mind will definitely manifest and this is called the law of attraction.

It’s time you stop putting your mind on unfocused and clouded things and start thinking positively of yourself focus your mind on the path that leads to your dreams, the path that directs you to your aims.

Failing is a transformation. It teaches you to be strong and prepares you for the success ahead. If you quit now twenty (20) years from now you will regret why you quitted.

Success is a journey not a destination. Start setting goals that seems unreachable for this will open you up to lots of possibilities.

The future belongs to those who prepare for it today.

It’s not okay to give up,  it’s not okay to let go, it’s not okay to change your goals rather take it into awareness. “Awareness is the beginning of transformation.”

WHEN YOU FEEL LIKE GIVING UP

Remember these six (6) Rs:

  • REMEMBER YOU HAVE LOTS OF PEOPLE TO PROVE WRONG
  • REMEMBER THE PEOPLE WHO THOUGHT YOU WOULDN’T MAKE IT
  • REMEMBER THOSE WHO DOUBTED YOU
  • REMEMBER HOW AND WHY YOU STARTED
  • REMEMBER YOUR DREAMS
  • REMEMBER YOUR BACKGROUND.

Sitting and watching won’t change your life, it won’t make it better but worst. Start being the change you want to see happen. Start thinking big. Start dreaming big.  Get upright and push through your pains.  You have a greater life to leave than the one you are leaving now, get up and and leave the life you wanted to leave, start visualizing that change  NOW!   Start FOCUSING! stop wasting your time wallowing in the past of your failures cause it will only keep recycling. NOW GET YOUR BUTT OUT OF BED, 5,4,3,2,1 GO! and start making efforts. You no longer have to be a victim of your past, a victim of what people say, a victim of what you think about yourself.

Stop using  I AM, negatively and start using it POSITIVELY. STOP saying I’m tired and start saying I’m successful, I’m a success to my career. MAKE THAT CHANGE!!!!!!!

“Success is a journey not a destination”

“Pain is temporary, greatness is forever”

“The toughest battles comes to the toughest warriors”

                            “No turning back

                              I’m all in

                             All in for my goals

                             All in for my dreams”

” Is it going to be easy

                       No!

Is it going to be hard,

                     Hell yeah!!!

But guess what! that’s the best part, learn to push through your pains.”

“Make goals that seem unreachable.”

“Failure doesn’t mean you are incapable but what you do after failing is what describes you. ”

STAY FOCUSED.

5- HOUR RULE USED BY SUCCESSFUL PEOPLE

Think of someone who epitomizes a successful career. Bill Gates? Oprah? Elon Musk? A healthy chunk of the names that come to mind are people who abide by one common principle: the five-hour rule. I’m  not saying this will make you the next Warren Buffett, but, hey, it’s definitely the place to start.

SUCCESS, IN ONE HOUR A DAY.

The rule itself is pretty simple: Carve out one hour from each weekday (one hour + five weekdays = five hours) to devote to deliberate practice and learning. Insert any bit of reading, studying, or practicing here that is applicable to the greater goal of advancing in your field. That’s it. Ta-da. Watch out, Mr. Buffett.
The reason why the five-hour rule is so effective in priming the world’s most accomplished people for continued success comes down to two things. First, working harder and longer is not the same as working smarter. Not even close. Smart working includes taking a little time away to learn instead of do. This will help you focus on long-term self-improvement, rather than your current workload. Do you really think Bill Gates reading 50 books a year is directly tied to his daily projects?
Secondly, nothing beats an expert. Jumping right into the deep end, figuring things out as you go is great and all, but there’s no substitute for good ol’ fashioned expertise. Billionaire entrepreneur Marc Andreessen points to Mark Zuckerberg as an example, saying in an interview, “I think skill acquisition, literally the acquisition of skills and how to do things, is just dramatically underrated. […] There’s a reason there are so many stories about Mark Zuckerberg. There aren’t that many Mark Zuckerbergs. […] The really great CEOs, if you spend time with them — you would find this to be true of Mark today or of any of the great CEOs of today or the past — they are really encyclopedic in their knowledge of how to run a company, and it’s very hard to just intuit all of that in your early 20s.”

FIVE HOURS, THREE WAYS TO ACCOMPLISH THIS

An Inc. article picked apart the ways different five-hour rulers spent their daily learning hour, separating the trends into three buckets:
1. Read. Besides Bill Gates, big-time bookworms include Oprah, President Obama, Mark Cuban, Nike founder Phil Knight, billionaire entrepreneur David Rubenstein, and self-made billionaire and owner of the Cleveland Cavaliers Dan Gilbert. Book club goals, anyone?

2. Think. This can feel like an hour of doing nothing, but taking time to reflect has been shown to improve job performance. It’s critical for AOL CEO Tim Armstrong, who makes his senior team spend four hours per week thinking.

3. Experiment. Don’t knock it till ya try it, literally. Benjamin Franklin and Thomas Edison were known to take risky experiments. Google and Microsoft have allotted time in the day for employees to experiment with their ideas.

GREATEST ENTREPRENEURS

There is a tough truth that any small business owner has to face. Even in the best of times, the vast majority of small businesses fail. In this article, we’ll look at ten entrepreneurs who not only succeeded, but built vast business empires.

John D. Rockefeller

John D. Rockefeller was the richest man in history by most measures. He made his fortune by squeezing out efficiencies through horizontal and vertical integrations that made Standard Oil synonymous with monopoly – but also dropped the price of fuel drastically for the everyday consumer. The government broke up Standard Oil for good in 1911. Rockefeller’s hand can still be seen in the companies like Exxon (NYSE:XOM) and Conoco that profited from the R&D and infrastructure they received as their piece of the breakup. Rockefeller retired at the turn of the century and devoted the rest of his life to philanthropy. (More than 70 years after his death, this man remains one of the great figures of Wall Street. Learn more, in J.D. Rockefeller: From Oil Baron To Billionaire.)

Andrew Carnegie
Andrew Carnegie loved efficiency. From his start in Steel, Carnegie’s mills were always on the leading edge of technology. Carnegie combined his superior processes with an excellent sense of timing, snapping up steel assets in every market downturn. Like Rockefeller, Carnegie spent his golden years giving away the fortune he spent most of his life building. (Though not as well-remembered as some of his contemporaries, Andrew Carnegie’s legacy is strong and moralistic, readThe Giants Of Finance: Andrew Carnegie.)

Thomas Edison

There is no doubt that Edison was brilliant, but it’s his business sense, not his talent as an inventor, that clearly shows his intelligence. Edison took innovation and made it the process now known as research and development. He sold his services to many other companies before striking out on his own to create most of the electrical power infrastructure of the United States. While Edison is a founder of General Electric (NYSE:GE), many companies today owe their existence to him – Edison Electric, Con Edison and so on. Although Edison had far more patents than he did corporate ties, it is the companies that will carry his legacy into the future.

Henry Ford

Henry Ford did not invent the automobile. He was one of a group working on motorcars and, arguably, not even the best of them. However, these competitors were selling their cars for a price that made the car a luxury of the rich. Ford put America – not just the rich – on wheels, and unleashed the power of mass production in the bargain. His Ford Model T was the first car to cater to most Americans – as long as they liked black. Ford’s progressive labor policies and his constant drive to make each car better, faster and cheaper made certain that his workers and everyday Americans would think Ford (NYSE:F) when they shopped for a car.

Charles Merrill

Charles E. Merrill brought high finance to the middle class. After the 1929 crash, the general public had sworn off stocks and anything more financial than a savings account. Merrill changed that by using a supermarket approach – he sacrificed the high commissions to serve more people, making up his money on the larger volume. Merrill worked hard to “bring Wall Street to Main Street,” educating his clients through free classes, publishing rules of conduct for his firm and always looking out for the interests of his customers first. (We all know names like Rockefeller, but there are other influential pioneers of finance in America’s history, see The Unsung Pioneers Of Finance.)

Sam Walton
Sam Walton picked a market no one wanted and then instituted a distribution system no one had tried in retail. By building warehouses between several of his Wal-Mart (NYSE:WMT) stores, Walton was able to save on shipping and deliver goods to busy stores much faster. Add a state-of-the-art inventory control system, and Walton was lowering his cost margins well below his direct competitors. Rather than booking all of the savings as profits, Walton passed them on to the consumer. By offering consistently low prices, Walton attracted more and more business to where he chose to set up shop. Eventually, Walton took Wal-Mart to the big city to match margins with the big boys – and the beast of Bentonville has never looked back.

Charles Schwab

Charles Schwab, usually known as “Chuck,” took Merrill’s love of the little guy and belief in volume over price into the internet age. When May Day opened the doors for negotiated fees, Schwab was among the first to offer a discount brokerage for the individual investor. To do this, he trimmed the research staff, analysts and advisors, and excepted investors to empower themselves when making an order. From a bare-bones base, Schwab then added services that mattered to his customers, like 24-hour service and more branch locations. Merrill brought the individual investor back to the market, but Chuck Schwab made it cheap enough for him to stay. (Learn more in The CEO Dream Team – Walton, Schwab, Marcus And Blank.)

Walt Disney

The 1920s found Walt Disney on the verge of creating a cultural juggernaut. A gifted animator for an advertising company, Disney began creating his own animated shorts in a studio garage. Disney created a character inspired by the mice that roamed his office, Mickey Mouse, and made him the hero of “Steamboat Willie” in 1928. The commercial success of Mickey Mouse allowed Disney to create a cartoon factory with teams of animators, musicians and artists. Disney turned that mouse into several amusement parks, feature-length animations and a merchandising bonanza. After his death, the growth has continued making Disney (NYSE:DIS), and his mouse, the founders of the largest media company on earth.

Bill Gates

When people describe Bill Gates, the usually come up with “rich”, “competitive” and “smart.” Of the three traits, it’s Gates’ competitive nature that has carved out his fortune. Not only did he fight and win the OS and browser wars, but Gates stored up the profits that came with the victories – and Microsoft’s dominance – to fund future fights and ventures. The Xbox is just one of the many sideline businesses that the massive war chest has funded. The fact is that Microsoft’s cash and Gates’ reluctance to pay it out is a big part of what saw the company through hard times and funded expansion in good times.

Steve Jobs
Unlike most of the others on this list, it’s possible that Steve Jobs‘ greatest achievements are yet unwritten. Jobs co-founded Apple (NYSE:AAPL), one of the only tech companies to offer a significant challenge to Microsoft’s dominance. In contrast to Gates’ methodical expansion, Jobs’ influence on Apple has been one of creative bursts. Apple was a computer company when Jobs returned to it. Now, the iPod, the iPhone and the iPad are the engines of growth that have pushed Apple past the once unassailable Microsoft. When Apple surpassed Microsoft’s market cap in 2010, it became clear that investors that, with Jobs, the best is yet to come.

CONCLUSIONS: I didn’t compile all these list of people just to intimidate you but to let you know that there is always a first step in everything. Don’t die with your dreams!
